Neil Lawler (1968) joined TNT Showfreight permanently in Jan 2005, after his involvement the previous year as a consultant to set up the IT systems for the recently formed Showpax service, a division of CEVA Showfreight.

Neil joined Showfreight to build on its commitment to IT within the industry and has been tasked with writing a new cutting edge real time IT system based around wireless technology.

In 2006 parent company TNT NV sold TNT Logistics, including the TNT Showfreight division, to Apollo Management and Showfreight was renamed CEVA Showfreight.

Prior to CEVA and TNT, Neil worked as a freelance IT consultant. He also ran his own IT Company for a number of years. During this time, his expertise has lead to his involvement in the following Foreign Office Events - CHOGM, EUFM, ASEM and Birmingham G8. He has also been involved in major events like - Sydney 2000 Olympics, Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games and ITMA 2003. Neil's knowledge not only stretches to the event industry, but also to the transport and freight industry, where he has dealt with a wide variety of clients.

Neil studied at Trent Polytechnic where he obtained his BSc Hons Degree.
